Annual Rally Round Golf Tournament
Golfing For The Better Good!
The Annual Rally Round Golf Tournament was founded in 2011 by Mohammad Raghib, CFP, ChFC. Mohammad arrived in the United States more than 35 years ago from Pakistan. He was empty handed, but optimistic and was welcomed to Orange County, California with open arms.
Eager to pursue the American dream of freedom and prosperity, Mohammad got to work and developed a successful financial planning practice with Ameriprise Financials. He also fell in love, and has two beautiful daughters. Mohammad achieved both personal and professional success, and wanted to honor the teachings of Islam by giving back to the community and country that he now calls home. Particularly to the future of our country, our beloved children.
Fundraising Made Fun!
In 2011 Mohammad hosted his first Rally Round Golf Tournament, donating 100% of all proceeds to Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). With the goal of positively impacting more lives, and increasing awareness about his annual tournament, he partnered with Steel Magnolias in Long Beach to donate 100% of the tournament proceeds to The Stramski Children's Developmental Center in Long Beach, CA. The Stramski Center is a special needs center that helps children and families deal with conditions such as autism, cleft lip and palate, birth defects, learning problems, and other developmental delays.
Over the last 7 years, Mohammad's Rally Round Golf Tournaments have raised over $150,000 for the children he is honored to serve. Mohammad's goal is to make fundraising fun by allowing you to spend a day on the greens while giving back to our future generations.
